About Us

One Alternate Energy Sdn. Bhd. (OAESB), also formerly known as Eramaz Technology Sdn. Bhd. in 2010 is a 100% Bumiputera-owned company based in Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

The company began by conducting feasibility studies in remote areas across Sabah, focusing on rural electrification through 24-hour solar hybrid systems. OAESB later evolved into a system integrator for smallscale solar hybrid systems in collaboration with Tenaga Nasional Berhad Energy Services (TNBES), a subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).

Following years of successful system installations and integration with TNBES, OAESB was invited in 2007 to participate in a joint venture to deliver the first large-scale solar hybrid system in Sabah, located in Kalabakan.

In 2012, OAESB further strengthened its capabilities by collaborating with ERAMAZ (M) Sdn. Bhd. under a joint venture to undertake design and build projects. These projects were awarded directly by the Ministry of Rural Development (KPLB), formerly known as KKLW, in Tanjung Labian, Sabah, covering both Phase I and Phase II.

Building on its successful track record in Sabah, OAESB is now expanding its focus to promote integrated solar PV–battery–utility energy solutions in urban areas across Malaysia. This initiative aligns with the Net Energy Metering (NEM) scheme introduced by the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) and the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (MESTECC).
